During his career, Santosh and his Peace for People foundation have built several schools, providing them with materials and lunch during school hours, and making education and scholarships possible for 3,226 children in the disadvantaged Dhading region (see the video for more info).

Sadly, after providing education and scholarships for so many children and youngsters in his region through his foundation, he now lacks the funds to finance college education for his own son Saugat.

Quality education with a job guarantee easily costs €4,000 a year in Nepal. Due to a long-term illness and the work he mostly does voluntarily, Santosh hasn't been able to save enough money to cover the first two years of his son's education. Our goal is to raise the money for the first year while we look for other funds and Santosh can save money for the rest of the college money.

Because we have seen firsthand how Santosh selflessly devotes himself to education in Nepal and the setbacks he has faced due to his health, we have started this gofundme to support him in also giving his own son the opportunity for a good future.
