Education in Myanmar and Cambodia
Donation protected

Each year, a group of dedicated students from Suffolk University choose to spend their winter break in a non-traditional way. The Alternative Winter Break program provides an opportunity for experiential learning and the opportunity to help international communities in Southeast Asia.
In 2019, students traveled to Myanmar and Cambodia, participated in a housing project with Habitat for Humanity and were able to interact with elementary school students. We were particularly moved by the kindness and enthusiasm of the students and teachers in the elementary schools we visited.
In 2020, we will travel back to Cambodia and Myanmar to continue our community work. Above all, we want to contribute and give more to the little kids studying in the schools we visited. This is why we are currently asking for monetary donations that will aid to provide students with the necessary means they need to succeed. There are many students willing and eager to learn who would appreciate and benefit from these resources we can provide for the rest of their lives.
US dollars stretch significantly further in Cambodia and Myanmar so any size donation will be meaningful and very appreciated.
