Hi, My name is Madeleine, I'm fundraising for ,
We are raising funds through crowdfunding to offer them much-needed educational support to more than 360 Rohingya refugee children residing in crisis-affected camps. They don't have access to school and are extremely vulnerable to child labor, child trafficking, and early marriage. We think that with a bit of assistance, we can restore the smile of learning, dignity, and hope to their faces.
We have leaders of refugees. We lack institutional support. We rely on the availability of Rohingya youth volunteers to provide education in tarpaulin and bamboo classrooms. We work with very little, trying to make safe, warm, and inspiring spaces where our children can learn.
Each of our children, we estimate, costs us around $60 annually to provide education in its complete form. This includes:
* Basic school supplies (notebooks, pencils, uniforms)
* Instructional and curriculum material
* Volunteer teacher stipends
* Classroom and safe learning environment repairs
* Awareness programs
* Student leadership and creative activity
We can stay open as learning centers, train more youth educators, and serve more out-of-school children because of you.
We'd be honored to raise some sufficient amount to provide a year's education to 360 children. One hundred percent of every dollar, dollar-for-dollar, of every donation will be placed directly into such programs, and with complete reporting and accountability.
We're not only teaching letters and numbers, we're bringing hope, forming identity, and producing a generation capable of overcoming displacement and exclusion.
We also do:
Empowering young Rohingya as community leaders
Empowering girls and women to gain safe education
Promoting mental health, climate action, and sanitation
Raising Rohingya voices worldwide through media and stories
It's not a gift it's an investment in peace, justice, and humanity.
Help us give Rohingya children the opportunity to learn, dream, and grow.
Your kindness and support are humbly appreciated.
