Education Fund for Jonathan Kaleb Colon in memory of Stacy Velez Gonzalez

My sister, Stacy Velez Gonzalez, passed away June 28, 2021 and to honor her memory, we have decided to raise support for one of the things most dear to her, her son, Kaleb. Money raised will be put towards Kaleb’s future education goals.
Some of you may not know that Kaleb’s dad passed away before Kaleb was born. My sister dedicated her life to her son. You can see from the pictures how much she loved her son and how proud of him she was. Her smile could light up NY Times Square :-) Kaleb inherited her beautiful smile. She was currently working at Whispering Pines Center in Broward County with special needs students as a Teachers Assistant. She loved her students.
My sister was engaged to Rene Rolon, together they have raised Kaleb to be a respectful, caring and loving young man. One of their favorite things to do as a family was attend music concerts. My sister absolutely loved music and has passed that love of music to Kaleb. My sister recently obtained a passport for Kaleb, her dream for her family was to travel the world. First stop was supposed to be Italy. Kaleb’s favorite subject in school is Geography, you can show him an empty map of the world and he is able to identify every country. I will make it my mission to make sure Kaleb gets to travel the world.

Mi hermana, Stacy Vélez Gonzalez, falleció el 28 de junio 2021, y para honorar su memoria hemos decidido pedir apoyo para el tesoro más grande de ella, su hijo, Kaleb. Donaciones serán utilizados para los futuras metas educativas de Kaleb.
Algunos tal vez no sepan que el padre de Kaleb falleció antes de que Kaleb naciera. Mi hermana dedicó su vida a su hijo. Es muy evidente en todas las fotografías, cuanto ella amaba su hijo y lo orgullosa que ella estaba de él. La sonrisa de ella podría alumbrar “Times Square” en Nueva York. :-) Kaleb heredó la bella sonrisa de su mamá. Ella trabaja como asistente de profesores en Whispering Pines Center en el Condado de Broward con niños con necesidades especiales. Ella amaba sus estudiantes.
Mi hermana estaba comprometida a René Rolon. Juntos ellos lo han criado a Kaleb y lo han enseñado ser un niño respetuoso, amoroso y cariñoso. Unas de las cosas que más disfrutaban como familia, era asistir conciertos musicales. My hermana amaba la música y esa pasión a la música se lo pasó a Kaleb. Recientemente mi hermana obtuvo un pasaporte para Kaleb. Su sueño para su familia era viajar por el mundo. La primera destinación iba ser Italia. El tema preferido de Kaleb en la escuela es la geografía. El puede ver una mapa del mundo en blanco e identificar todo los países. Mi misión va ser que Kaleb logre viajar por todo el mundo.
