My sister Dr. Mackenzie Patrick ,BSc Hons MSc PhD passed away at the age of 36 leaving behind her 7 year old daughter Allie. Mackenzie was deeply passionate about her studies at Memorial University and spent most of her life there, considering it her second home. Along her educational path she obtained her doctorate in Environmental Biogeochem, her passion was climate change and she had some groundbreaking discoveries. We know how important education was and is to Mackenzie and know that she would want her daughter to go all the way and surpass her in that world. Any help with Allies education is deeply and greatly appreciated.
