On February 28, 2022, our family lost my brother, Grant Timothy Adams, when he passed away unexpectedly at the age of 24. Grant was Timothy and Lori Adams' first-born son. This sudden and unexpected loss has devastated family and friends who knew and loved him. Grant was a devoted father to his young son, Jackson Grant Adams, a devoted partner to Jackson's mother Bre Jones, and a devoted father figure for Bre's oldest son Eli Case. Caring for his family and planning for their future was one of his top priorities. Because Grant was at the beginning of his career in restaurant management, he didn't have the opportunity to put those plans into action. We have set up this fund for Jackson, to be used for his education, to honor Grant's wish that Jackson have the ability to explore his interests and find a fulfilling path in life. We hope that Jackson will someday be able to learn about his father's legacy of love, warmth and kindness from everyone who knew Grant.

Grant had an old soul. He was thoughtful, caring and fiercely independent. Grant always lit up any room he was in. He was known for his fun, outgoing, carefree and adventurous spirit. Grant had a great sense of humor and loved to make people laugh. He quickly excelled at anything and everything he set his mind to, taking pride in his many accomplishments at work an home. He saw purpose and lessons in even the tiniest of things, forging meaningful connections with everyone he met. He loved anime, one of his favorite shows being Naruto. In the words of his favorite character from the show, the wise and eccentric mentor Jiraiya: “A place where someone still thinks about you is a place you can call home.”

Grant will remain forever young and vibrant in our hearts and memories.

Jackson is almost 20 months old and is just as funny, smart and outgoing as his father was at that age. Jackson has such a bright future and despite this loss, and with family support, we will be able to provide a future that Jackson deserves.
