On Friday, November 5th, 2021, Daniel Blaze Menzel was rushed to the Research Medical Center after suffering a cardiac arrest. He was revived by the grace of God and received exceptional care from the nurses, doctors and medical staff in the ICU. Unfortunately Dan's medical condition was too severe to overcome and died as a result with his family by his side.

Dan was a registered organ donor and his family decided to honor his wishes so that his tragic death would not be in vain and he could help other families praying for their own life saving miracle. We believe Dan's organ donor gifts will leave a lasting legacy reflecting his heart of gold to help others and will provide his children with a source of pride in the future.

Dan is survived by his two children Dreydon Blaze (9) and Amelia Blake (16 months). We are asking in lieu of flowers, cards, or other gifts of condolences that you find it in your heart to donate whatever you can to an educational fund for his children. All funds raised will be deposited into Dreydon and Amelia's 529 college savings funds providing them with every opportunity in the future.
