It was GRUESOME!
It was MACABRE!
It was just plain WRONG, no matter what angle you choose to look at it from.
No one - especially not a CHILD, should be MURDERED - for GOING TO SCHOOL! PERIOD!
We saw the horrible pictures and VIDEOS from KUMBA on that fateful OCTOBER 10th 2020, and then photos and video snippets from the FUNERAL of the 7 INNOCENT SLAIN CHILDREN.
IT HURT so bad, and we wept, cursed, ranted ... and then, as is wont to happen after a while with the mere mortals that we are, WE MOVED ON.
We may not have forgotten it happened, but we put it behind us.
Well, Mrs. CAROLINE SENGE TAMBE, a certified High School Teacher with 16 years under her belt, hasn't, THANK GOD!
This very BRAVE PASTOR'S WIFE. who is most probably better known as the BASS SINGER of THE HARBINGERS Gospel Music Group, took it upon herself to found the BELLA NURSERY AND PRIMARY SCHOOL right there in FIANGO - KUMBA, thus providing MUCH NEEDED and MUCH SOUGHT AFTER EDUCATION for the young children of the area, most of whom have not seen the four walls of a classroom for the past 4 years.
Mrs. CAROLINE TAMBE is no billionaire! She's having to pay her DEDICATED staff from her own High School Teacher's salary, since most of the pupils, though SO EAGER to get an education, just CANNOT afford even the meagre tuition required:
$60 for THE ENTIRE SCHOOL YEAR!
Well, Ms. MABEL ETUGE, a RADIO TALK SHOW HOST on VOSAWORLD RADIO who also happens to have been childhood friends and roommates with COMPASSIONATE & CARING CAROLINE decided to have us both on her "TALK TO ME AFRICA" Show which aired last Sunday.
WHAT AN EYE-OPENER THAT WAS!
MABEL and I found ourselves PLEDGING to each SPONSOR a child before we knew it, and we are CONVINCED that YOU will find it in your heart and soul to do likewise and OFFER THE GIFT OF EDUCATION to these INNOCENT and DESERVING children.
PLEASE HELP US HELP CAROLINE MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN A CHILD'S LIFE!
