Daniel Valai came from Liberia to the United States as an exchange student in 2017-18. Immersing himself in school, church, activities, and the culture, he made the most of his year here. He saw all that can be accomplished when the doors to opportunity and education are opened. He has now returned to his village back home with dreams of furthering his education and becoming a medical professional in a country where there is only 1 physician per 15,000 people. Liberia has a broken economy and is afflicted with systematic corruption, so the prospect of Daniel obtaining funds for higher education on his own is near impossible. Tuition, books, and lab expenses amount to only $600 per semester. Let's help this great young man fulfill his dream to achieve his greatest potential by at least funding his first two years of study!
