Education and awareness of political prisoners at Vught
Donation protected
Hi Everyone,
In memory of my father, Theodore A. Mol, 1936 - 2025.
I am asking that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to support Nationaal Monument Kamp Vught.
My father was imprisoned at Kamp Vught in the Netherlands in 1944 at just 8 years old because his father, Franciscus Mol, was a leader in the Dutch resistance and was captured.
Kamp Vught was a Nazi concentration camp where countless prisoners suffered, sacrificed their lives to help others, and died for their country. My father’s experience there shaped his life, and honoring his story is a way to bring awareness to the courage, resilience, and humanity of those who endured such unimaginable hardship. These were ordinary people who became witnesses to, and were the bystanders of
extraordinary heroism.
Donations to the Camp directly are not possible outside of the Netherlands, as they require a Netherlands bank account. To make this work, I have set up this fundraiser. All contributions will be collected here and then sent in one sum directly to Nationaal Monument Kamp Vught to support their mission of education, remembrance, and awareness.
Thank you for helping honor my father’s memory and for supporting a place that preserves history and teaches future generations the importance of tolerance, courage, and love for humanity.
My contacts there who are aware of this fundraiser are
Brigitte de Kok, collection and presentation employee
Mellanie Dekker, collection employee
I urge you to visit the Nationaal Monument Kamp Vught and come face to face with my father's eyes.
