St Jude’s is an incredible school in Arusha, Tanzania, entirely supported by volunteers and donors. Founded by an Australian woman just over 20 years ago, it has since helped hundreds of children from some of the poorest communities receive a high-quality education and the chance to break the cycle of poverty.

Next year, I’ll be travelling to Tanzania to visit St Jude’s and to volunteer in a local hospital in Arusha. Africa has always held a very special place in my heart, and when the chance to fundraise for this school came my way, I felt deeply grateful for the opportunity to contribute.

In July, I’ll be taking part in a major fundraising project: climbing Mount Kilimanjaro — the highest peak in Africa — to raise funds for the School of St Jude. After the climb, I’ll also be volunteering in one of the region’s major hospitals.

Every dollar raised will go directly to the school. Your support will help provide essential items like books, art supplies, meals, fruit, and other basic needs for the students.
