Hello my name is George and I have been selected to take part in a once in a lifetime opportunity to go to Nepal to do some volunteering work in their Country.

I already help out at a local soup kitchen in my area and I really enjoy helping to make a difference in my local community, so when the opportunity came my way to apply to go to Nepal with my School, I felt it was an amazing opportunity to further my volunteering work and gain greater experience in different cultures.

I feel in this current climate it is really important to stay grounded and show kindness and empathy towards others.

I have been selected to go to Nepal in July 2026 to teach at Shubhakamana Academy in Kathmandu. I am really going to embrace this experience and I really want to help and make a difference. So I can go on this trip I need to fundraise £2,600.

i will be doing various fundraising events including hikes in the Lake District. The first hike I am going to complete is The Old Man Of Coniston. I will keep everyone updated on here when I complete a challenge and will upload photos.
