Overview of Educate ME 
Our mission is to increase the number of men and women of color in the field of education. We seek to change the education system by creating a continuum for men and women of color to grow, achieve, and succeed from college to career. We believe students regardless of race, gender, or economic status deserves a equitable education with a diverse teaching workforce. Our vision is to combat the academic achievement gap by motivating minority men and women to become an educator and potentially obtain leadership roles to transform classrooms, schools, districts, and their communities.


Our goal is to serve more charter school networks and school districts with diversifying their teaching workforce. In order to have the capacity to assist these entities with a high level of quality service, we are looking to create a education software platform to assist schools and teachers through the hiring process. Our top three priorities is a Tech Development Team, a Director of Teacher Development and Support, and a National Director of Teacher Recruitment.

Donations will cover the following:
-Creation of Education Software for Human Resource Efforts 
-Supporting more educators in the classroom through training and workshops
-Fund more educators with classroom budgets for supplies and materials
-Award minority educators with teacher scholarships
-Host montly teacher support events for the 2018-2019 academic school year

Fundraising Impact
$50,000: Software Development + 20 Classrooms Sponsored+ teacher workshops+ teacher scholarships
$30,000: Software Development + 20 Classrooms sponsored for teachers 
$20,000:  Software Development = 500 educators recruited
