Help Educate Home School Plus Science Projects

Donation protected
Greetings and Thank you for taking the time and interest in this request. My name is William, a 60+ year old retiree raising and home schooling two youthful boys ages 12 and 10. We home school these boys and for extra curricular activities I help create some interesting science projects. When they showed their finished project there were many interested in following suit and asked us to help and show them how we did it. We use Facebook and the page @minisolargenerator to teach them with a pdf file containing most of what was written as posts to build their very own milk crate solar generator. It wasn't much but could power lap tops fans ect. The most important thing is they learned about battery chemistry, wiring, voltage ect... If there came a time that an emergency dictated you needed somehow to create quick energy they could easily take what they have learned and build one of their own. There are motorcycles, card, lawn equipment that all have some type of battery and they could easily hook it up to have a fan to keep you cool, charge your smart phone for communication thus the old saying, "you can give a man a fish and feed him for a day or teach him how to fish and feed him for a lifetime." During the time I was sharing and writing the lessons to build the first mini generator many asked if I would please put a bigger unit together that could help power items like a refrigerator or microwave and other heavier power-consuming devices and appliances. I agreed to do such, however, when I did I did not realize how expensive things could really get and being retired trying to foot the bill entirely by myself on SSI -- its became glaringly apparent I would need help to finish this to finish writing and videoing these next lessons. I have included the finished product of our first project and the items I have already saved up for to get for the next portable generator. I am in need of 4 more lifepo4 cells and bms, a stronger inverter as well as proper wiring ect and other items such as lights and maybe even an emergency siren you can quickly turn on if you needed help. I have 1500.00 which should cover the costs and if gofundme allows me to I will take a snapshot of all purchases. If I get more than I requested, my plan next is to create a simple, usable wind turbine and then after that a water turbine projects. Unless I have used the company before I do prefer to purchase the equipment and test it out this way I am under no false obligation to any one company or product. If a company proves good in customer service, product and shipping then they will receive a review worthy of thier performance matrix and to protect those using this system. This is all free and the only thing I ask them if they enjoy to tell others homeschool or not that may be interested in learning. Our kids and adults are our future -- its time we pay it forward before we ask for anything in return. I really hope you will be interested in helping this educational cause and see the value in helping me. $1 $5 $10 $20 $50 $100 -- any. I know money is tight, if donating is not an option, Please pray for our country, our youth and the success of our project and projects to come.

Sincerely,

William Middleton
