It is with broken hearts that we share the sudden and unexpected passing of my beloved nephew, Eduardo (Lalo). He was only 31 years old, and our family is struggling to comprehend this devastating loss.

Lalo was a beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, and cousin— a bright, kind, and beautiful soul who touched the lives of everyone around him. His smile lit up every room, and he had a way of making people feel loved and seen. He had so much life ahead of him, and losing him this soon feels unbearable.

This tragedy came out of nowhere, and we are still having a hard time knowing that he is no longer with us. As we begin to plan his farewell, we want nothing more than to honor Lalo in a way that reflects the love he gave and the light he brought into our lives.
