Eduardo A. Perez Hernandez - Journey to Recovery
Donation protected
Eduardo is a 14-year-old battling End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD). He is an immigrant child that fled his country of Honduras for protection from domestic violence with his mother. He was recently deported to Mexico where he was unable to receive medical care for his disease that greatly endangered his life. He is now back in the United States continuing lifesaving dialysis treatment while seeking a pathway to permanant residency. Eduardo’s condition requires him to receive dialysis three times a week and this has caused great hardship for his family. His Medical Team is in search of a matching transplant donor but until then, his mother and family which consist of 4 U.S. Citizen siblings, struggle daily to make ends meet while tending to his medical condition.
His mother is currently unable to work due to the demands of his medical condition and a lack of transportation due to her vehicle being impounded. Eduardo and his family are barely making ends meet. In addition to the financial strain, he is also facing possible deportation to a country that will not provide the resources required to preserve his life. The purpose of this Go-FundMe is to help Eduardo and his mother financially to cover expenses associated with his medical condition, transportation, and legal expenses while he continues to wait for a life-saving kidney donor.
