Edu for Grace (in memory of Samuel)
An Education for Grace - In loving memory of her big brother, Samuel
Samuel Marcel Tharp passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, June 30, 2018, he was 21 years old. Sam exemplified all the characteristics of a natural born leader and a well-mannered gentleman. He exuded kindness in his actions and thoughtfulness in his words. No matter where he was going or what he was doing, Sam always remembered to say I love you to his family, whom he cherished beyond measure.
A true older brother, Sam was lovingly protective of his siblings William and Grace. They were always his priority; their relationship has been tied with special bonds of love, respect and deep compassion.
True to his generous nature, Sam designated his younger brother, Will, as beneficiary of his life insurance for the purpose of funding his education.
In the spirit of matching Sam's generosity, we set up this education fund to benefit Sam's younger sister, Grace. All contributions to this account will be transferred to a 529 college savings plan established in Grace's name. Mark Makuch, CPA (family accountant) is registered as the beneficiary of this fund, he will deposit these contributions directly into Grace's 529 account.
Grace is a kind, outgoing, athletic, intelligent and artistic young woman. She will graduate high school in two years, with class of 2020. Please consider making a donation. By helping Grace achieve her education goals, you will be honoring her cherished and loved big brother's memory. Any amount is sincerely appreciated.
