Edson's Finer Day Fund
Donation protected
Greg was diagnosed with cancer near the end of September. We all thought that while the prognosis wasn’t particularly great, we’d have a bit more time than we did. As some of you know, COVID impacted his ability to operate his practice, and then he faced this significant health crisis. As a result of these difficulties, some of the financial cushion that was in place is no longer there. The generosity of family and friends has helped he, Tammy and Ryan through the last month and will help in the coming days. Going forward, in lieu of any flowers or gifts, we’re establishing a fund for Tammy and Ryan to right size after this personal and financial loss.
The fund name comes from one of Greg’s favorite quotes from one of Greg’s favorite people, his high school coach, Ron Bowen. Anyone who spent time at WRHS knows the history – it could be the most miserable day imaginable, and Coach Bowen would stand outside, look and say, “Never seen a finer day”. The sentiment deeply resonated with Greg, who always looked for the positive in any situation, no matter how bleak something seemed. Tammy and Ryan are facing some pretty miserable days in the near future, so let’s help remind them that there is light at the end of the tunnel by supporting the Edson Finer Day Fund.
