On March 23rd, 2017, our lives drastically changed. My husband Edsel was admitted to the hospital with a colon abrasion.  Over the next few days doctors determined that he was doing better and in a position that he could come home.  Unfortunately, that was shortlived as he went via ambulance less than 18 hours later and was admitted to another hospital on March 27th. He then had two emergency surgeries to save his life.  Edsel spent 2 days on lifesupport and 4 days in the ICU.  His surgeon then told us that most people who come to the hospital in his condition do not survive.  We were extremely lucky. (This was a very scary and eyeopening admission from our surgeon).
On Tuesday April 11th Edsel came home!! We knew we had a long road of recovery ahead, but we were thankful and blessed to be home.  Once again, shortlived, 2 days later Edsel was re-admitted to the hospital with 2 blood  clots, a collapsed lung and the beginning stages of pneumonia.  Finally, April 15th Edsel came home!
Here is where we need your support.  Edsel will be out of work for at least 6 months, and the bills are starting to roll in, we could use any help you are willing to provide, be it $1 or $100 we are truly grateful for all of our family and friends during this difficult time.
Edsel needs to be worry free to recover from this life changing trauma and bond with his family during this time. He should be able to do so without adding the stress and worry about the bills that are coming in.  If you can donate it would be very helpful.
