Yemen is facing one of the worst humanitarian crises in the world, facing a devastating war for the past seven-year. With over 23 million people currently living in dire conditions with limited access to food for survival, clean water, and sanitation.

Over the past couple of months, a group of high schoolers from Edsel Ford High School have been working alongside the United Humanitarian Foundation--a nonprofit organization--to help with the construction for families in Bajil, Hudaydah Yemen. This year’s goal is to surpass 10,000 dollars to go into the construction of new homes.

Through GoFundMe.org, this fundraiser will provide immediate aid to families in Hudaydah, Yemen. The funds will benefit United Humanitarian Foundation, an organization that is active on the ground providing humanitarian aid ranging from their water tanks to their bakery project in Yemen, with their housing project and goal to build 75 more homes for families in need.
