Ed is 40 years old, he is originally from Palmira NY & moved to this area 15 years ago.  He has worked for Marks Pizzeria for over 20 years and a proud owner of Marks Pizzeria in Groton NY for 8 years.  He is currently employed by Schwann's Food Service. He is married to Jasmine Wells -Nichols and has a beautiful son Brayden. His mother  & father Linda & Michael Halsey from Rochester NY. 
He is in critical condition in the ICU in Ithaca NY.  He had a hernia that tore the muscles in his stomach that allowed part of his intestine to come through.  This has  infected his entire body with Gangrene making him very ill.  They placed him in a Medically Induced Coma and removed two feet of intestine.  They are waiting on antibiotics to kill the infection. The Doctors are hoping when he is stable to move him to Upstate Hospital in Syracuse.   Donations will help the family with living expenses, medical & travel expenses.  Thank you so much for donations of any amount!
