Edmund Sun's Recovery and Care

Hello Family and Close Friends of Edmund,

As many of you may know, our Dad has been suffering from an autoimmune disease called Myasthenia Gravis for several years. Unfortunately, his chronic disease went untreated, and after a scary bout with Pneumonia, he was in the ICU for a month. He lost the ability to speak due to weakening facial muscles, received a tracheotomy to assist with breathing and most recently had a peg feeding tube inserted.

It is heartbreaking to see him in this condition, and our family wants to ensure that he gets the best care moving forward to treat his disease and help rehabilitate him to a higher quality of life. Therefore, we kindly ask for any help to cover a mountain of hospital bills and future treatment at the Rain Tree Care facility in Manila. We hope to enroll him in this full-time nursing home/rehab facility to assist with 24-hour care and an in-house team of specialists.
