On 2/8/2026 I saw a video on the /r/Edmonton subreddit titled: "Edmonton Homeless & disabled gentlemen, absolutely destroys Alberta Separatist" showing a homeless disabled gentleman arguing with a supporter of the separatist movement and giving strong, clearly articulated reasons for why Canada should reject it.

I was incredibly moved by the clarity, patriotism, and soundness of his opinion of the issue. I strongly agree with what he says, as I think most informed Canadians do.

To prosper, Canada must stick together, and anyone who thinks otherwise is fooling themselves. As this gentleman says, we will get picked apart if we separate.

Divided we are conquered. United we stand.

We should do what we can to help such a patriotic individual who despite his hardships still has a loving, optimistic, open heart for the Truth North Strong and Free in these chaotic, uncertain, and distressing times we live in.

His love, and call for the protection of our great country is something that should resonate with all Canadians.

"Canadians take care of me."
