At 2a.m. on Wednesday morning, April 25th, the Sawasciuk Family’s business, European Designs & Manufacturing caught fire. An extra-alarm fire in the Mallers Building at 5 South Wabash Ave in Chicago's historic Jewelers Row left European Designs & Manufacturing ablaze.  Eva and Hubert Sawasciuk are two of the nicest people within the jewelry industry. They have helped so many of us over the years, now it is time for us to help them. If you wear a fantastic piece of jewelry that was manufactured in Chicago, odds are good that European Design & Manufacturing helped in part of the manufacturing process.
