My niece Victoria, has been in the US for 8 months now on tee pee ss, which is soon to expire in February due to the TD administration ending protective status for Haitians and many others. The situation in Haiti is not safe and many have lost their lives including our cousin. It is currently no place for a young 7 year old to be de porte d to alone and be expected to find her family.

I have spoken with my older sister (her mom, who resides in Haiti) and we have agreed that I can go ahead and meet with immigration lawers and adoption lawers about starting the adoption journey. In hopes of her obtaining cit izen sh ip through natur aliza tion and gaining a safe and permanent home and guarantee a birghter and safer future.

How you can contribute to the success and safety of Victoria's future:

The money raised will go towards all lawer and adoption fee's and any remaining will go first towards moving her out to a safer household, then her basic needs (food, school fees, etc), , as well as a college savings account and an emergency funds account. The goal of the emergency fund is if depo rtati on becomes her reality then there will be funds to help support her and her family in Haiti as they move through the world uncertain of when stability and safety will arrive.

So overall why the $50,000k goal?

This amount is just a good safety net starting point (adoption cost, lawers, relocation cost, her basic needs, college savings account, and emergency funds to support her back in Haiti incase dep orta tion happens) which we do not want
