Yesterday, my Dad and Stepmom's house caught fire in Modesto, CA. They, along with their pets got out safely - walking away with only the clothes they were wearing and a few material possessions (that could be salvaged).

They are in the late 60's and early 70's and desperately need food, clothes, blankets, furniture, and simple household items.
