Ellie's Heart Surgery

Hello everyone, My name is Edlyn Ramirez, I started this Go Fund Me page to help with Surgery Costs/Health Expenses/Medical Bills for my daughter Ellie Jude. Ellie was born six months ago. Upon her birth, doctors soon realized that there was something wrong with her heart. After several examinations, Ellie was rushed to the Los Angeles Children’s Hospital. Ellie was diagnosed with Tetralogy of Fallot with variant absent pulmonary valve syndrome. Due to her condition, Ellie will possibly need several open heart surgeries throughout her life span. For her first six months of life Ellie has been able to delight us with her beautiful and charismatic presence. Ellie is definitely a fighter, despite all odds Ellie was able to come home to us with a week of her birth. Ellie relies on Oxygen 24 hours a day. Due to having TOF, Ellie's oxygen levels tend to be low unless she is connected to her oxygen.  Ellie is scheduled to have open heart surgery on January 10, 2019 at Los Angeles Children’s Hospital. We are hopeful that this surgery will help our little Heart Warrior live a semi-normal life. On Top of this surgery, Ellie will continue to be monitored on a regular basis by her cardiologist and pediatrician. Each consultation cost us $30-$100 depending on the visit. Ellie requires biweekly cardiology visits as well as monthly Synagis vaccines. These vaccines are very expensive, but very crucial to her well being. Since I will be off work for 6 weeks after her surgery and her dad will also be off for a few days our income will also be affected. We are asking for your support to help us raise this money.
