Help Us Finish Our Indie Film Tender – A Galway Love Story
We’re reaching out to ask for your support to help us complete the final stage of our indie film, Tender — a slice-of-life romantic drama set in the heart of Galway city.
Tender follows the story of a young Galway woman and a Nigerian-Irish man from Louth as they meet for the first time on a summer’s day. It’s an honest, intimate portrayal of modern love, identity, and connection in contemporary Ireland. Their date is brief, awkward, electric, and real — just like so many encounters in the world of modern dating. Shot against the vibrant backdrop of Galway in the summer, the film captures the magic, messiness, and fleeting beauty of a first meeting between two very different people.
We’ve poured our hearts into shooting this film — assembling a brilliant cast and crew, filming on location in Galway, and capturing something special that we truly believe in. Now, we just need your help to get Tender over the finish line.
We’re seeking funds to cover the essential costs of post-production — editing, colour grading, sound design, and final mastering — to ensure the film reaches its full potential and is ready for the festival circuit and wider release.
If you can support us in any way, big or small, we’d be so grateful. And if you can’t donate, sharing the campaign would mean the world.
Thank you for helping us tell this story — of love, place, identity, and chance — with honesty, heart, and hope.
With love and gratitude,
The Tender Team
