Jasmine Hughey born to Edith Fuller’s baby sister, Cindy, who she helped raise.
Edith was so proud of Jasmine for following her dreams of musical theatre and teaching children with special needs.
Jasmine loves the beach like her Aunt Edith did. She loves music, and is one of the talented performers for The Henry Players. Hope if to return to the stage one day!
The children (and parents) she has taught throughout her career still check on her and keep in touch with her through their adult years!
Jasmine was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer at the age of 24, and against all odds, she beat it and was cancer-free for over 10 years. When 2020 happened, no more appointments or checks were done.
In 2023, she began getting sick and ended up finding out not only had the cancer returned but spread and entangled around her liver.
Once again, she finds herself in the fight of her life and she has several more months of chemo. For those who have been on this journey, know the cost is exorbitant and today’s insurance companies won’t pay for it all. So we are now raising money to pay for the remainder of this year's treatments and tests, so Jasmine can focus on healing!
