Friends... This is Edi. He is an amazing young man in our community here near Bacalar...he's terminally happy and effervescent, always shows up for work on time, and is always quick to help whenever someone needs it.

Edi urgently needs ACL surgery on one of his knees. Since he is a laborer, he has not been able to work or feed his family since the injury, and will not be able to do so until it's repaired and healed. Total cost of the surgery and rehab is quoted at M$120,000 (~US$6,000).

Lise, I, and a few local friends have so far covered M$50,000, so desperately need to find M$70,000 (~US$3,500)

We and Edi are hoping we can find some others who can help us get him, literally, back on his feet so he can work again. Any amount would be greatly appreciated by us, Edi, and his family.
