We launched this GoFundMe with the aim of raising money to create care packages for medical frontline workers filled with items bought from local businesses.

However, due to the difficulty in sourcing appropriate containers and suitable items, we've pivoted slightly and are teaming up with Pizza Geeks and their 'Pizza for the People' initiative. This will mean that we're able to more quickly and efficiently make sure the money raised goes to a good cause.

Through 'Pizza for the People', Pizza Geeks work with local charities and organisations to ensure that those who are homeless or vulnerable get access to a hot meal. Throughout the current crisis they've been working extra hard to deliver donated pizzas to those on the medical frontline in Edinburgh's hospitals.

From 9pm on Thursday, May 21 through to 9pm on Friday, May 22, Svein Clouston will run a marathon, one mile an
hour. In between each hour Svein will attempt to do something productive. It's a challenge he's not entirely ready for.
