Edifying Erin

Erin Janelle is our rainbow baby that God blessed us with on August 8,2018. On February 14, 2019, Erin showed signs of a stomach virus which lasted a week.  This transitioned into involuntary eye movement that resembled seizure activity. Erin was admitted to Lebonheur Children’s Hospital for a week and endured several tests including a Lumbar Puncture, EEG, CT Scan, and a MRI. The results led Neurologists and Geneticists to believe that Erin suffers from a  Mitochondrial Disorder. This is very rare disorder and requires multiple tests to be done, that aren’t all covered by our insurance, to determine a cause and treatment for her specific condition. 

Erin is such a joy and is a mighty elephant who pushes through anything that she faces. We are honored to be her parents and trust God to care for her through it all. 

We are starting this account to help absorb costs accumulated by her medical needs (but also for transportation, food, housing or other necessities associated with her medical care).
