Hello to the Denver Community and beyond, our very big staff of over 300 needs your help. First and foremost, we sincerely hope that everyone is healthy and safe. We are in challenging, changing times, and this is especially true for the hospitality industry, which has been impacted very hard financially.
On Tuesday, March 17th, our independently owned and operated restaurants had to do the unthinkable; we closed our restaurant doors to our guests and staff. For the last 12 years, Root Down, Linger, Vital Root, Ophelia’s and El Five have become a part of this vibrant community. Places to dine, to celebrate, and to share in one of the most simple joys that we all have, to spend time in the company of other people.
We fully understand and respect the difficult decision that Denver has made regarding the health of our city, and we take our responsibility to halt the spread of COVID-19 very seriously. Unfortunately, these tough, necessary choices have left a majority of our staff without any source of income.
Our family, our servers, line cooks, dishwashers, bartenders, and bussers, need your help. Without the ability to serve you, to help you make your hospitality “movie”, to keep your culinary soundtrack playing, our team is left without their financial lifeline during these hardest of times.
Anything helps... and we are MATCHING up to $10,000
Any $ will make a difference for us. Especially right NOW.
For every $1 donated, Justin Cucci of Edible Beats will match your donation up to $10,000. We are trying to honor and aid our heroes of hospitality.
Together, we can make a difference. (Cliche?...sure. True?...Hell yes)!
A FEW EXAMPLES OF THE MATCH
You give $37, we give $37, our employees get $74
Your uncle donates $9.99, we double that and donate $9.99, our employees get $19.98 (hell, well round it up to $20)
Thank you for your time and every little bit helps. Be well and we will see you and look forward to serving very soon.www.ediblebeats.com
