EDGE NE knife crime prevention

Edit: after raising the target to £250 we have managed to hit it again (had donations given as cash, I won’t put them through Go Fund me as they take a fee off so I will write the names below with the amount) so as I’m writing this we have currently raised £375 !!!

Edit: I set the target at £100 not expecting to hit it within a few hours of posting, I will raise the target and see how far we can take it :)

Many of you already know my brother Scott's story, but for those who don't, I'll share. Earlier this year on January 29th, Scott was brutally attacked with a machete. He suffered a severe head wound

requiring 7 staples, a deep arm cut that needed immediate plastic surgery to mend the severed muscles and tendons, and nearly lost his thumb which also required surgery. These physical injuries were just the tip of the iceberg.

The emotional trauma and stress this incident caused for Scott and our family is hard to express. We've been through a whirlwind of hospital visits, police interviews, and court hearings. It's been a trying time, to say the least.

To help prevent such horrifying incidents in the future, I'm planning to raise money for EDGE NE In honor of Scott, EDGE work with young people in the North East who have been affected by criminal exploitation and serious youth violence or who are at high risk of this.

I want to raise money for this charity to be able to prevent similar attacks from a young age so other families don’t have to go through what we did

To raise money me and my fiancé will be dying our hair bright pink on the 29th of January as this is Scott’s favourite colour, any donations will be greatly appreciated and used well by EDGE.
