I am starting this GoFundMe page for my friend and co-worker, Edgar Hernandez.  Edgar has worked with me for more than twenty years and is loved by everyone.  A humble, gentle and caring person, Edgar is the primary caretaker for his elderly parents who are devastated by the news of his accident last week.

 Edgar was operating a zero-turn lawn mower when it slipped and fell down a steep embankment.  His spinal cord was nearly severed in the fall and we’ve been told he may never walk again.  The first glimmer of hope came this morning, when doctors told us that he had some feeling in his feet and was able to wriggle the toes on his right foot!

 I am hoping to raise money to help Edgar with medical expenses and what will be a long recovery process.  Anything you can give will be truly appreciated.
