Better Education for hundreds of Children
Tax deductible
Ohana for Ghana is a team of volunteers who organize yearly trips to Ghana to build schools infrastructure, and computer labs in rural areas.
We are going again in march 2020, and now more than ever we need help to raise funds:
$1800 will build one computer lab with:
- one server (rachel server valued at $500)
- 10 laptops (computeraid.org laptops valued at $130 each including windows10)
Each computer lab will be located in a rural school:
your contribution will enable hundreds of children to get a unique opportunity to access better education, improve their conditions and build a better future for the next generations in their community.
We personally supervise this end to end, and our videos prove our success: in march 2020 we will visit again to make sure that last year's equipment is still in working order, and to learn from past experience so we can improve our service for the years to come.
After our trip in march 2020 we will publish more videos of the current state of last year's labs.
If we reach our goal of $1800, we will then aim to raise money to build a second lab.
Please note the trip to Ghana is personally funded by each individual volunteer, and all of your money will be used to buy laptops and servers for the computer lab.
Feel free to contact us if you would like to participate to this volunteering trip.
We would like to thank Salesforce for participating with hundreds of employees work hours, as well as equipment and funding through the 1:1:1 program.
