Hey everyone! I’m a 4th year WAAPA student finishing my Honours degree in Jazz singing.

Back in April I was excited to be accepted into one of 15 spots for WAAPA Jazz students to go to New York for a study tour. It’s an incredible opportunity to work alongside and learn from some of the greatest musicians in the industry.

ECU promised us a $8,245 loan to help cover the costs of the $9,437 trip.

It was only AFTER I’d booked my flights that they told the Honours students we were no longer eligible for the loan.

So somehow I have to find over $8,000 for this once in a lifetime opportunity which starts at the beginning of July!

As you can imagine, I’m very upset and frustrated and any help would be immensely appreciated xoxo
