Hi, my name is Donna and I am Eden’s Nana. Ryan and Tabby Barton are her parents (Ryan is my son). Eden graced us with her presence at 3:36 pm on June 1st, 2025 via emergency c-section at 32 weeks + 3 days. She weighed 4 lbs and 0.2 oz and was 15.35 inches long. She not only has Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (meaning her left side of her heart did not develop) she also has a congenital diaphragmatic hernia ( this has caused her liver to move up into her diaphragm and doctors aren’t sure if her right lung has fully developed). Doctors say it is a complex and rare case. What we do know is she will be there a long time. She has to weigh between 5 to 5 1/2 lbs before any type of surgery can be done. She will need at least 3 different heart surgeries and surgery to correct the hernia. As of today she is 3 lbs 10 oz. She is stable at this time and they were able to get a feeding tube in her. Praying she gains weight.

The money will be used for Eden’s medical bills and her parents (Ryan & Tabby Barton) lost wages. Tabby does not have any kind of maternity leave benefits and therefore no income and would greatly appreciate your help.
