Eden’s fundraiser for St Michael’s Hospice (Basingstoke)
I'm raising money in aid of St. Michael's Hospice (North Hampshire) by running the Manchester Marathon in April 2026, in memory of the incredible woman who I am so greatful to call my Nan, Marion Moseley, who lost her battle to cancer in February 2025. St Michael’s ensured my Nan was as comfortable as she could be. Therefore, I am taking on my first Marathon to give back to those who supported our family at our time of need.
I found my love for running again in summer 2024, after struggling with my mental health. Running was my outlet and my time to think. In the last 6 months the furthest I have ever ran is 12km, so this is going to be a real challenge, but nothing compared to the challenge my Nan fought so bravely.
Every one of those 26.2 miles, I will remember Nan’s bravery, courage and fight. And I’m sure she will be with me every step of the way.
Thank you in advance for your contribution.
