Eden has recently developed medically resistant epilepsy and is currently awaiting approval for neurosurgery in hopes of controlling or stopping her epileptic seizures. She spent the past two months seizing uncontrollably despite medical intervention and countless medications. Ali (Eden’s mom) is the primary caregiver for her disabled father and Eden and is unable to work during surgical work up, surgery and recovery periods. As a result it will be hard to financially cover rent, travel to Cleveland Clinic and medical and therapy costs over the next few months.
