“Eden” the Painted Pig

This poor pot belly needed help ASAP!!

People were torturing her! She was abandoned and left to be neglected and abused. She had been spray painted with two different color paint. The whole left side of her face and a large part of her body was painted with blue and yellow paint. It is understood that her owners moved off and abandoned her. To know the full truth would be  difficult to determine.

The facts are, she  was abused!

 After seeing a post go through Facebook, we took action and contacted a local farm couple who were known to receive rescues. As soon as they heard, they were straight out the door and located her. The pig is huge but with help of others, they were able to load her up and bring her home.

This couple could use help with the necessities for a pig this size (proper shelter, supplies, food and medical) They also have other rescues that they care for as well. They are not an “organized” rescue, they are a couple that have a deep love and concern for abandoned and abused animals. So they don’t have access to the funds they need.

They don’t wish to surrender her to a rescue facility, they wish to provide a forever home for the rescue pig they say God sent to them. They have named her “Eden.”

They won’t  ask for help, but we at Hogston Heaven Farm visited with them yesterday and know their hearts are in the right place so we felt the need to help with food and supplies. We have been contacted by several wishing to do the same.

Here’s your chance! Eden is on a good path and doesn’t seem to have permanent damage to her left eye.
