On Wednesday March 8, 2023, Baby Eden woke up with vomiting, significant fatigue, and she appeared very sick. Prior to March 8, Eden was running fevers and appeared to have the flu. She was given medications however her fever would not go down. James and Brooke decided to take Baby Eden to Valley Children’s Hospital for treatment. James and Brooke thought it was possibly just the flu or an ear infection. However, after many tests the doctors said that Eden’s ear infection was severe and the bacteria had spread into her head behind the bone and above her brain. She was diagnosed with Acute Mastoiditis with Intercranial complications on the left side. Baby Eden was rushed to emergency surgery and the doctor had to cut into her bone to clean out the bacteria that was close to her brain. From the infection, a sinus thrombosis (blood clot) was formed and Baby Eden is now taking blood thinners to break down that clot. Eden’s father James, is a Senior Pastor at a Christian church in Lindsay, Ca. Pastor James decided to serve others and always takes care of his people. Eden’s mother Brooke runs her own business and also serves others. The doctors stated that Baby Eden may need to be in the hospital for up to 6 weeks for healing and recovery. This being said, we are seeking support for the Foster family due to them suffering a significant financial hardship because they are not able to work and are not bringing in any money to pay for medical bills, insurance, and food during their time in the hospital with Eden. Please consider loving on the Foster’s during this significant hardship. Please pray for healing for her. We believe God is a Mighty God and will heal Baby Eden.
