London to Paris Cycle for OCD

Hi,
My name’s Eden and I have OCD. Phew - feels good to finally get that off my chest!
I’m going to be cycling this year’s London to Paris charity ride to help raise awareness for Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.
It’s a challenge of a lifetime and one that I need your support in achieving.
1 in 4 people experience some form of mental illness and almost 2% of the UK population have OCD.
It’s something I’ve had since I was a kid. I never understood why I had severe worries or intrusive thoughts, or why I felt I had to carry out rituals to help “fix” my fears.
It was scary and isolating and I wish I could travel back in time and give my 8-year-old self a big hug and tell her that she’s not alone.
So I’m doing this for her and for the countless others who have OCD.
As well as my training for the London to Paris cycle, I’ll be driving a social media campaign to help highlight and smash many of the stigmas surrounding OCD.
