Some friends of mine recently received  some terrible news regarding their beautiful baby girl.

Recently we have just found out some heartbreaking news about our precious little girl Eden.

Eden has been the gem of our life from the moment we laid eyes on her. She is the most beautiful bub and has been the happiest and most lovable girl everyday we have had her.

Unfortunately we have had Eden at hospital with seizures and we have been in John Hunter for the last few days finding out what's happening with our georgous girl.

It is with so much sadness and heart break that we have found out that Eden has been diagnosed with LISSENCEPHALY a rare gene linked brain malformation.

Research shows that Eden's brain only allows her development to go as far as a 3 to 5 month old for the remainder of her life. Eden will not have the normal life a child has but she is still special in every way, this dosent change the way we love her unconditionally.

We are so thankful for all the support we have received so far and thankful for everything in the future.

We ask that while we know everyone is thinking of us and supporting us our little family will need the initial time at home to adjust. Hopefully we will be returning home soon.

We understand everyone may wish to call for support but at this point we are just devastated and struggling to come to terms with Eden's diagnosis. We will see you all soon.

Eden is still the same lovable little girl and always will be and in time we wish everyone that is close to us will help her enjoy life.
