I will be running 10k this Sunday to raise money for Eden suite at heartlands hospital. For those who don’t already know, this is a bereavement suite which cares for families who sadly lose their baby through miscarriage, stillbirth or neonatal death.

Eden suite uses specialist equipment to prolong the time parents have with their baby following their loss. The amazing specialist midwife’s/support workers on the unit provide memory boxes which includes teddies, baby blankets, keepsakes of baby’s foot/handprints, photos of baby ect.

Sadly 1 in 2 adults in the uk are affected by baby loss.

I hope that any money raised will help the Eden Suite team comfort and support other families in the same way that they did for us
