Edelmira Zamudio Funeral Expenses

Dear Family and Friends,

I am helping my close family friend Alan Zamudio help raise money for his mother's funeral expenses. The last couple of months has been life changing for his family. His mother was taken into the Emergency Room on September 22, 2020 and diagnosed Covid positive. This was very worrisome for their family since she had diabetes. Upon arriving to the hospital, she was severely hypoxic and placed with a respirator mask. Since then his mother had spent the last couple of months fighting for her life on a ventilator in the Intensive Care Unit. It was a battle for their family. Due to pandemic restrictions they were only able to see her once. During that time, the doctor informed them that she was beginning to have organ failure and may not have much time left. It was hard for them not being able to be by her side holding her hand, comforting her, telling her they love her and she could get through this but they stayed hopeful and prayed. On November 07, 2020 their family received a phone call at night stating that his mother had passed away.

Some of you have reached out and asked how you can help us during this time. Know that your kindness is much appreciated as we navigate this heartbreaking moment. We kindly ask, if you are able to, to donate funds towards the funeral service, as we hope to carry out all of Edelmira's Zamudio's final wishes. His mother never wanted to be cremated and they would at least like to be able to bury her. Thank you again for supporting us during this time.

Querida familia y amigos:
