6 weeks and 3 days after we got married, my husband rode his motorcycle into a sudden torrential downpour. He had no time to react and the instantly flooded road picked his back up and down he went. He was in Michigan on his way to his new job.
We hadn't moved to Michigan entirely, so I was at home in Virginia when I received the phone call at 4: 15 a.m. that Eddie was in the hospital.  As soon as he was out of surgery I hoped in my car and drove up to be with him.
I will stay with him here in the hospital until he is sent back to Virginia.

His injuries were not life threatening due entirely to his motorcycle leathers and helmet. I truly believe he would not be alive, if not for this gear.

Eddie has been recovering better than expected, and he is in good spirits. His recovery and future rehabilitation will be lengthy and will take all his strength and determination, two things he possesses in spades.

I am setting up this campaign for help with all of the medical bills and all the modifications to our home that need to be made to make it wheelchair friendly.

Eddie has a great attitude and drive to get back to life as normal.  With his determination and a little help from you, we can get him back on his feet in no time.
