Eddie's Road to Recovery: Your Support Needed

*UPDATE 09.11.24: Eddie is still in the ICU fighting really hard to wake up. Please continue to pray for him and our entire family.

It is with a heavy heart that I share with you a life-changing event that affected our family this past weekend. Eddie was involved in a motor vehicle accident early Saturday morning. He was a passenger in the vehicle and sustained major injuries. Eddie suffered brain trauma from a hard head injury. He has 2 broken ribs, and his right leg is broken in 2 places. He had to be intubated for the first few days due to the injury to his ribs. It is still very difficult for him to try and communicate because he is sedated most of the time and comes in and out of it. Doctors still have him under close observation in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) to see if there are any other medical factors we need to be concerned about.

Eddie is the head of the household and the main person our family counts on financially.

We are still unsure of how long his recovery will take, but we are thankful for your support, prayers, and encouragement at this time.

God is good, and He knows why Eddie remains with us after such a terrible accident.

I know that Eddie has a lot of friends and family that love him truly and does not take your kindness for granted.
