In April 2023, Eduardo Rivera was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of cancer called Alveolar Rhabdomyosarcoma. For the past year, he has heroically battled through radiation, chemotherapy and all the side effects that come with it During this time it has been very difficult for Eddie to enjoy life with his young family. After a short pause in treatments, Eddie is feeling better so we are hoping to surprise him with one of his lifelong dreams, to less whales “in the wild.” We are raising funds to help pay to take Eddie to the San Juan Islands in Washington, where there are whale watching trips! At age 24, Eddie is too old for Make a Wish, and some of the other foundations have a wait list. Sadly, waiting is likely not a good idea in Eddie’s situation. Any help will be greatly appreciated!!”
