Hello. Our names are Eddie and Amy Garcia. We are blessed with 6 beautiful children ranging from ages 4 - 15, we are a blended family and we have been married for 8 years. On December 20, 2016 while gathering fire wood my truck accidentally slipped down a mountain side trapping it up against a tree. Needless to say in an attempt in removing the vechicle the tree came crashing down on the cab and by the grace of God no one was seriously injured. On Decemeber 22, 2016 I was headed into Espanola NM. to purchase pellets for our pellet stove. On one of the most dangerous curves near Picuris I lost control of my wifes van due to slick roads crashing into a tree cutting the tree in half and once again walked away with no serious injuries. Thankfully I was alone and we managed to pull the vehichle out but both vehichles are literally undrivable. We are in the process of arm wrestling insurance companies but we desperately need transportation. We have found a few vehicles for direct purchase ( vans ) that are in good condition between $1,500 to $2,000. We both need to get to work and every Thursday and Sunday we have to drop off and pick up our oldest three so they can have visitation with their dad.
